Highlights: Jozani Chwaka National Park
This is a tropical rain forest being part of Jozani Chwaka bay National Park (a tropical natural reserve). Its home to the rare colobus monkey. Other animals to be seen include, blue sykes monkey, elephant shrew and bush babies.
CTZO2-Spice Tour - Half-day
Spices were introduced on Zanzibar island by the sultan of Oman in 1873. They are said to be of medicinal value and are still used by the local people to cure certain maladies. Different spices including cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, vanilla or black pepper are grown. CTZ03-Historic Stone Town Tour - Half day
Zanzibar stone town was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2000. This is one of the few intact historical coastal trading towns of East Africa. This tour will take you to central market, the former slave market, the Anglican cathedral, Tippu tip House, the house of wonders, the Old Fort, the Palace Museum, the former residence of the Sultan and princes Saime and the Maruhubi Palace Ruins._______________________________________________________________________________________
CTZ04-Prison Island - Half day
This is an islet, which formerly was used as a private detention for disobedient slaves. It is today a small tourist resort famous for its giant tortoises. After the briefing by the guide, you then can spend sometime sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling or just walking around.
