Mountain Village offers a number of great activities that explore the surrounding area, including lake shore walks to see the Colobus monkeys, forest antelope and abundant bush life; nature trails through neighbouring coffee plantations, with picnic stops and 'coffee tasting', mountain biking and canoeing, as well as trips to the craters, lakes, forests and peaks of nearby Arusha National Park. The main lodge is in an old coffee planter's farm house, which has been tastefully adapted. When you're not exploring the area you can relax on the roof terrace and take in the panoramic views of Mt Kilimanjaro, Lake Duluti and Mt Meru, or pamper yourself with luxurious beauty treatments or a toning massage.
