The elegant tents, decor and atmosphere is influenced by the character of Frederick Courtney Selous, a hunter and adventurer who appreciated the beauty and wildlife of East Africa when he made it his home in the 1920s. Overlooking the Luwegu River and set in a secluded riverine forest, Lukula offers exceptional views, service and adventure, as well as spectacular game viewing on walking safaris, tracking expeditions and game drives. Stay for a minimum of 4 nights in complete privacy, but if you wish to explore more of Selous, then a canoeing safari or authentic fly-camp sleep-outs can be arranged, both of which will grow your adventurous spirit.
