The children activities on this safari  include: meeting  chimpanzees, making  fire with a pair of  sticks, horse/camel

day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: On arrival at the airport you will e met by   our customer service officer and transferred to the hotel where you will be assisted to check-in. A safari briefing will follow after.
Overnight at Safari Park Hotel/Fairview Hotel on BB.  
Day 2:
0800 hours you will be picked up from the hotel by your safari driver guide and drive towards the Mt.Kenya region to Sweetwaters Game Reserve, a private conservancy. You arrive in time for lunch at the camp, after which you have time to relax before going on afternoon game drive at 1500 hours including a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary and a 30mins boat ride on the river- an experience not to miss. Sweetwaters is a 24,000 acre game Sanctuary boasting a variety of animals like elephants,Leopard, cheetah, rhino, lion, eland, oryx, baboons, zebra, giraffe, waters bucks as well as hundreds of bird species. There is a 200 acre chimpanzee Sanctuary which is home to about 40 Chimpanzees, where orphaned and rescued chimps are reared and rehabilitated.  A visit to Sweetwaters conservancy is incomplete without visiting the Ereri Multi-cultural Manyatta situated just outside the Serat gate to Sweetwaters Game Reserve. Here you have a chance to visit some of Kenya’s pastoral tribes in replicas of their traditional homesteads and sample their culture:- these are the Maasai, Samburu, Pokot and Turkana. They will invite you into their homes and introduce you to their lifestyle and perform their traditional dances.
Optional activities at Sweetwaters include night game drives, bush walks, game rides on
Camel back. All meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Luxury tented camp.
Day 3: Full day spend at Sweetwaters game Sanctuary starting with a morning game drive including a visit to the chimps once again. After lunch visit the multi-cultural Manyatta and
Later proceed to the park for afternoon game drive or you may choose to do one of the optional activities at the camp. All meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Luxury Tented Camp. Sweetwaters camp has 30 luxury tents overlooking a large water-hole usually lit by night providing excellent game viewing as animals come to drink water.
Day 4:
After breakfast drive Sangare Ranch located in Central Kenya (Nyeri) on a 6500 acre Private Ranch at the foot of Aberdare Ranges and neighboring Solio Game Reserve.
You arrive in time for lunch at Sangare Tented Camp. The camp is in Aberdares most exquisite settings, overlooking a magnificent fresh water lake against a backdrop of Sangare Hill. The lake is full of exciting birdlife and the spectacular views across the vast savannh make Sangare one of the richest private wildlife sanctuaries. The terrain hosts zebra, eland, giraffe, leopard, warthog, gazelles, bushback etc.  Sangare camp has 12 luxury tents which all have a private verandah with a cozy lounge looking the stunning natural lake. Today you will have an afternoon game drive in the ranch.
All meals and overnight at Sangare Luxury tented camp.
Day 5: Leaving after an early breakfast drive to nearby Solio Ranch for a morning game drive.
Solio has the highest concentration of black rhinos, other animals to be seen are cheetah,
Leopard, lion, giraffe, zebra etc. Return to the camp for lunch and relax. In the afternoon you may choose to do the afternoon game drive or any of the following
Optional activities: boat rides, horse riding, nature walk and a night game drive after dinner. All meals and overnight at Sangare Luxury tented camp.
Day 6:
Leaving after breakfast drive to the via Thomson Falls for a brief stopover to see the falls.From here proceed to L.Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for lunch at Lionhill Lodge followed by afternoon game drive in the park. The park provides a sanctuary for the rhino and has always been considered a flamingo lake per excellence. The contrast and apparent dislocation between the shallow soda lake with it’s primeval birds and the animated woods all around it give Lake Nakuru National Park a very distinctive appeal. Animals to bee viewed are leopard, rhino, waterbuck, Rothschild giraffe, zebra, impala, lion etc. After game drive, drive out of the park to Lake Naivasha where you will spend the next two nights. Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort.
Day 7:
After breakfast you will on the morning boat trip on L.Naivasha to see hippos and several bird species. The boat trip includes a visit to Crescent Island for a game walk. Crescent Island is a preserved sanctuary of wildlife where you will walk among the harmless herds of animals like gazelles, zebra, giraffe, dik dik, eland. It gives you a peaceful experience and one worth the time. Return to the lodge for lunch.  In the afternoon the children are free to join the children Adventures Club for activities like treasure hunt, child oriented game walks, camel/horse riding. The adults have a choice to go for afternoon game drive to the Crater Lake Game Sanctuary or optional escorted game & bird walk, guided horse riding. All meals and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort.
Day 8:
Leaving after breakfast drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve – the sights, sounds, colors and spectacle that spell Africa. You arrive in time for lunch at the camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive to a closer look at the Mara.
Masai Mara is the Northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Everything is big and famous in Masai Mara. It is a country of breath-taking vistas, a panorama of vast rolling plains and rounded hills. The park is home of the largest concentrations of animals in Kenya and it is here where the famous annual wildebeest migration takes place between June – Oct. Animals to be seen here are all the Big 5 – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino as well as Topi, giraffe, zebra, Wildebeest, hyena, hippos in the river as well as birdlife. All meals and overnight at Mara Intrepids Club.
Day 9:
Full day spend in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The children will join the Adventures Club at the camp where they will learn how to throw a Spear, use a bow & arrow, build a Masai Manyatta, make fire with a pair of sticks etc. All meals and overnight at Mara Intrepids Camp. Mara Intrepids camp has 30 luxury tents widely spread across a large river site to ensure guests the optimum of privacy and peace. Each tent sits on a shady raised platform with Sweeping views over the riverbanks where a large variety of animals come to drink water.
Day 10: After breakfast drive back to Nairobi where you will arrive in time for lunch, lunch on this day is on own arrangement. Later transfer to the airport for your home-bound flight.

Note:This Kenya Family safari is done using a 4x4 vehicle.
