CT13-7 Nights Nairobi /Samburu /Aberdares /L.Nakuru /Masai Mara

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met by our Customer service officer transfer to the hotel. Asafari briefing will follow after check-in. Overnight at Ole Sereni Hotel on BB.

Breakfast at the hotel then check out and depart heading north to Samburu Game Reserve. You arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Samburu National Reserve has harsh, dramatic terrain. The Samburu people said to be cousins to the Maasai are similarly dramatic and unique. Dressed in bright red, with their braided hair and skin daubed with red ochre, the “moran”, the youthful warriors of the Samburu usually with a spear-in-hand, are a wonderful sight. Although most of the reserve is arid, Uaso Nyiro River provides a permanent water supply. Riverine forest fringe the river banks with the doum palm taking the day as its fruits are a delicacy for the elephants. The animal species found here are adapted to the arid environment, and are particularly found in the northern frontier. They are; the beisa oryx, gerenuk, grevy’s Zebra, and reticulated giraffe. One should also expect to see leopard, elephants among other animals. Somali ostrich can also be traced. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Ashnil /Samburu Simba Lodge 

Full day spend in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight stay at Samburu Ashnil /Samburu Simba Lodge .

Depart after breakfast and drive to Aberdare National Park for lunch at Aberdare Country Club. After lunch join the hotel vehicle for a  transfer and game drive en route the tree lodge inside the park. Afternoon spend  game viewing from the balcony of your hotel. Nights here are interesting with plenty of animals coming to the water hole to drink and salt lick. Dinner and overnight at Treetops/ The Ark.

After breakfast transfer to the base hotel and re-join your safari driver. Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Relax for a while after lunch before being picked up at 1600 hrs  for afternoon game drive in search of the lion, leopard, black and white rhinos among other animals. A stop at the baboon cliff will give you magnificent view of the lake. The greater and lesser flamingos both shade the lake pink. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp/Lionhill lodge.

Leave after breakfast  and drive along  the floor of the Great Rift valley, climbing the western escarpment to Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Later in the afternoon embark on an afternoon game drive in search of animals in the savannah. Masai Mara National Reserve is considered a “must see” for any visitor.The Masai Mara provides the best view of the famous wildebeest migration as the animals cross the Mara River between July and Oct . Bird life is as plentiful as wildlife at the Masai Mara, which boasts over 400 different birds species. For bird lovers, the Mara birds come in every color and size, including birds of prey. The park is on the “to do” list for many Kenyans and visitors alike because it is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds. Masai Mara is the best place to see the “Big Five” animals (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalo) together. The famous wildebeest migration also take place at the Mara. Dinner and overnight stay at Sekenani camp/Mara Leisure Camp . 

Full day spent in Mara with morning and afternoon game drives that promises to be thrilling. The sheer enormity of Mara and abundance of wildlife offer endless opportunities for excitement. All meals and overnight at Sekenani Camp/ Mara Leisure Camp.

Leaving after breakfast, drive back to Nairobi to arrive in good time for lunch and transfer to the airport for onward flight.
