CT UG 04-6 Days Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi

On arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Kampala.

Overnight at Protea Hotel on BB.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala and transferred to Queen Elizabeth National park in western Uganda. On your way you will make a stopover at the equator for the equator experience and photography if you please. Proceed to Mbarara town for lunch and continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park arriving in the late afternoon.

Dinner and overnight at  Mweya Safari Lodge or Enganzi Lodge.

Go for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot a lot of wildlife including African elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, impala, among others and a lot of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast, relax a bit and enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon, go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel inside Queen Elizabeth Park where you will come up close with hippos, crocodiles among other aquatic life and an array of birds on the bay!

All meals and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Enganzi Lodge.

Enjoy your breakfast and drive southwest of Queen Elizabeth national park in search of tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector where on a lucky day, you will be able to spot many of them lounging on trees and enjoying the sun! Continue and proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park arriving in the evening. Check in to your hotel, unwind, and enjoy dinner and overnight at  Silverback Lodge or Ichumbi Lodge.

Have an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. Head into the forest and trek until you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. After finding the gorillas in Bwindi, you will be allowed only 1 hour and then return. Your driver / guide will drive you back to your hotel to relax and spend another night. All meals and overnight at Silverback Lodge or Ichumbi Lodge.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch, arriving in Kampala in the evening. Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or the Airport for your onward flight marking the end of your safari.
