CT 25 – 9 Nights

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel on BB.

Pick up from the hotel and transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Amboseli National Park. On arrival at the airstrip you will be met by the lodge vehicle and transfer to the lodge with a game drive en route. Lunch at the lodge, followed by afternoon game drive to view animals.  Amboseli lies immediately north-west of Mount Kilimanjaro, on the border with Tanzania. The Park covers 392 square km, and forms part of the much larger 3,000 square km Amboseli ecosystem.  The National Park embodies five main wildlife habitats (open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland) and covers part of a Pleistocene lake basin, now dry. Within this basin is a temporary lake, Lake Amboseli, that floods during years of heavy rainfall.

At 0630 hrs you will be picked up for the early morning game drive, returning to lodge later for breakfast.  After breakfast you are free until lunch time, you have time to relax, take a swim in the pool or a walk on the lodge grounds. After lunch pick up for afternoon game drive, retuning to the lodge later in the evening. Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close.  Look up for Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine. Prolific birdlife features 600 species

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for flight to Nairobi  where you will connect on to the flight to Samburu Game Reserve. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by the camp vehicle and transfer to the camp with a game drive en route. Lunch at the camp followed by afternoon game drive.  he Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve.The reserve is reach in wildlife and is famous for abundance in rare northern special species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred as Samburu Special). The reserve is also popular with a minimum of 900 elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction. Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area. Birdlife is abundant with over 450 species recorded.

0630 hrs, pick up for early morning game drive, return to the camp for breakfast followed by leisure time until lunch time . Pick up again at 1600 hrs for afternoon game drive until later in the evening. All meals and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Camp.

After breakfast, be ready for collection at the hotel lobby at 0730hrs and drive north to Meru National Park. You arrive in time for lunch at the lodge followed by afternoon game drive at 1600hrs.

For many years Meru National Park has been Kenya’s best kept secret, the untamed wilderness of the park is best explored for its hidden jewel. The park was made famous by the film “ Born Free” and George Adamson’s Lions. Meru is an explore’s paradise, the least visited of all Kenya’s parks and reserves, this remote region is a lush green Eden. Meru National Park is wild and beautiful, straddling the equator abd bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain fed streams. Animals to be seen are buffalo,, black rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, eland, antelopes, lesser kudu, duiker. The rivers abound with hippos and crocodiles. Over 427 bird species have been recorded. All meals and overnight at Rhino River  camp. 

AT 0630 hours, you will be picked up for the early morning game drive to explore the luxurious jungle of the park and its animals.  Return to the camp later for breakfast and time to relax until lunch time. Later you will be picked up for afternoon game drive or any other activity (bush walking, hiking, biking, fishing, guided bird-watching, bush meals, sundowners, visit villages, massages, or just relax at swimming pool).

After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for flight to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival you will be met by the lodge vehicle and transfer to the lodge with a game drive en route. After lunch time to relax followed by afternoon game drive in the park to view animals. Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system.  The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).

Day 9

Full day spend in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives or after breakfast take with you picnic lunch and drive to the park for a full day game drive. Return to the lodge later in the evening.

After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for flight to Nairobi, meet on arrival and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for flight home.
