Tour Summary

A 12 day  Kenya Tanzania  safari that covers such places as Kenya's masai mara, serengeti, ngorongoro in Tanzania.
Day 1: Met on arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at The Stanley Hotel.

Day 2:
Morning pick up from your hotel and drive to Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Maasai Mara is the northern extension of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and enjoys an astonishing amount of game. Mara has a stunning landscape and superb habitat, which is host to lion, cheetah, elephant, kongoni, topi, thompson's gazelle, waterbuck, hyena and primates. Birding in the Mara is also excellent. Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge or similar
Day 3:
Full day in the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight stay at Keekorok Lodge or similar.

Day 4:
Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch at the lodge followed by time to relax.Later, depart for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru was originally declared a national park because of a superbly diverse bird population and more precisely for the protection of flamingos. Apart from being a rhino sanctuary where one can easily view both black and white rhino, other animals are also present ; buffalo, zebra, antelope, reedbuck, waterbuck and the rothschild giraffe. The black rhino-breeding program started in eighties, has proved successful.
Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp/ Lionhill Lodge or similar.

Day 5:
Depart after breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park. Lunch at the lodge followed by time to relax. This was Kenyas first game sanctuary. Brooding high over Amboseli in the background, Mount Kilimanjaro, Africas highest mountain, provides water for the park. The park is best known for the high population of elephants. Other animals include wildebeest, hippos, buffalo, giraffe, leopard, caracal, civet, cheetah and zebra not leaving out the abundant birdlife. Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge or similar.
Day 6: Full day in Amboseli Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.
All meals and overnight stay at Ol Tukai Lodge or similar.

Day 7: Depart after breakfast and drive to Namanga border where you to through immigration formalities then join your Tanzanian driver guide and proceed to Arusha for lunch. After lunch depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving later in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa/ Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Similar
Day 8: Breakfast at the lodge then descend into the crater for a morning half-day crater tour returning to the lodge for lunch. Ngorongoro conservation area covers approximately 8,288 sqkm. The crater which is at 610 metres below the crater rim has an area of 265 sqkm and a diameter of 19 km. This is the central attraction in the area and is the largest caldera in the world that has its walls intact. Animals expected to be seen here include: gazelles, zebra, rhino, eland, wildebeest and predators like lion, leopard, cheetah hyena and jackal.

Day 9:
Breakfast at the lodge then depart and drive via Olduvai Gorge to Serengeti National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. This park was declared a protected area in 1921 and gazetted as a National Park in 1951. Common animals to be seen here are lion, impala, buffalo, hippo, elephant, waterbuck, cheetah and wildebeest. There are over 400 species of birds in Serengeti. Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena/ Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 10:
Full day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives.
All meals and overnight stay at Serengeti Serena/ Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 11: Breakfast then depart for Lake Manyara. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive. This being one of the oldest national parks is host to tree climbing lion besides buffalo, elephants, baboons, leopards, impala, zebra Giraffe, hippos and wildebeests. This park contains over 400 species of birds.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 12: Depart for lunch at the Arusha then transfer back to Nairobi.
